I have to be at the clinic at 8:30am for my 9:30am (PST) surgery on Thursday August 17th. They said I would be there for about 6hrs. I figure hubby can drop me off, go to work for a few hours and then pick me up again. I have my iPod loaded with Audiobooks from Audible.com and from Podiobooks.com, a nice collection of free and subscription books. I think I have upwards of 20 hours of storytelling goodness, and that doesn't count the almost 2000 songs I have on there. I'm set!
The surgery will go well, I will end up with 20/20 vision or better, there will be no complications. Everyone keep this in mind for me on Thursday! I am a firm believer in positive thoughts and the power of visualization (pun intended).
